Highlands has given tens-of-thousands of pounds of food to local food pantries to bless Central Coast neighbors in need.

Highlands Helps Kids

Yearly we have over100 kids attend a Flag-Football Camp that we host.  Many of these kids also receive scholarships.

Highlands has changed the world

Highlands has directly given $76,287.50 to support the work of Lifewater to help end the global water and sanitation crisis.

Highlands built a school

Highlands Church has given $47,279 to Zozu project in Arua, Uganda.  These funds have helped build a school, build a fresh-water well, and build teacher housing units.  Additionally, Highlands members have given $101K in individual sponsorships.  

Highlands teaches kids to care

Every year hundreds of local Middle School students and teachers participate in a Highlands Church sponsored event called Smash Out Hunger in which the students raise funds and collect food for the local food pantry.  So far, thousands of dollars have been raised and thousands of pounds of food have been contributed.

  • This is a non-profit organization that began in the Winter of 2016. Their goal is to provide shelter for transients during the winter months. Highlands offers its facilities monthly (along with other local churches) to be a safe, warm place for numerous families here in our local community.

  • This program began in 2010 at Flamson Middle School and currently is offered on four other campuses weekly. Katy Griffin runs a nationally recognized program called Girl Talk, which empowers young girls to be the girl who God created them to be. The lessons each week range from self-worth to communicating effectively with their parents. Highlands Church supports these schools sites by providing staffing and food for the program.
